The K.K. Slider Cover Project

The K.K. Slider Cover Project is an album of covers from Nintendo's Animal Crossing franchise. In the game itself, the songs' lyrics are all in "Animalese," a form of gibberish. For this project, I wrote original English lyrics based on the genre and tone of each song. I partnered with musician and producer Rekcahdam, who created the instrumental tracks and mixed each song. The album was released in 2016 to overwhelmingly positive reception that continues to this day.
